The subjects I study are color interaction and transparency, the relationship between drawing and painting, and the relationship between representation and abstraction. My work has been exhibited locally, nationally and internationally in juried shows and in one-person exhibitions. For the past several years, I have been experimenting with color interaction, the goal being to bring about the illusion of transparency using the additive laws of colored light mixture. The outcomes of these experiments with color have led to the square transparency studies displayed on the website.
