I cannot think of a better reason to be an artist than this: Creating works of art is a human experience. I make art for its own reward.

Kiki Karatheodoris holds a BFA and MFA degree in Printmaking and Painting from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, as well as a BA in Sociology and Early Childhood Education from Lehman College, City University of New York. Her work has been exhibited locally, nationally and internationally in juried shows and in one-person exhibitions. She has been invited to present her work at conferences as well as discuss and exhibit it to honors classes at the University of Alabama. For the past several years, she has focused exclusively on the study of color interaction and transparency. The outcomes of her experiments with color have led to the square transparency studies displayed on the website.
Kiki emigrated from Greece to the United States as a young child. She is fluent in Modern Greek, has resided in Toronto Canada, New York City, New York and currently lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
